Breaking News : Web site of Matt Cutts, at MattCutts.com, fails to pass the mobile-friendly test.

Google has done all it can to push for a ‘mobile-friendly’ web by sending emails, showing alerts, and well just bullying around with an approach of penalizing websites by decreasing outgoing search traffic to them and crippling their businesses.

Millions of webmasters around the globe have left important feature roll-outs and are focus on mobile optimization with the fear of losing revenue. It’s a sorry state of affairs and but we’ve managed to find a way to make you smile.

The mobile-friendly test has a deadline: April 21st, however when we last checked mattcuts.com – the website of matt cuts on April 16th, 2015 , we were left rolling on the floor laughing.

As can be seen here –

the web site of Matt Cutts, at MattCutts.com, fails to pass the mobile-friendly test, on two counts:

  • Text too small to read
  • Mobile viewport not set
Let’s wait until 21st April and check if Matt passes the mobile friendly test by then.

We’d love to hear from you about this fiasco in comments below. Oh and do share this with your fellow blogger friends. I’m sure they would appreciate a good laugh 🙂
